ABOUT US
Sussex Stone & Ceramic is a family run business with over 25 years of experience in the stone industry. Established in Broad Oak, Heathfield by Laura Ive and Simon Henry as Sussex Stone Marble & Granite, a bespoke stonemasonry workshop, the company grew from strength to strength winning new customers as word of the superb quality of manufacturing spread across the South East. In 2015 they were approached by the Stone & Ceramic Group (London based natural stone and tilling commercial subcontractor) with an offer of a mutually beneficial partnership which was accepted. The company, along with its new name, Sussex Stone & Ceramic, gained access to the large commercial market in the South-East of England and, after a major investment in new sophisticated machinery and a new large factory, this provided our London partners with state of the art fabrication facilities. Both companies have benefited tremendously from the synergy by sharing opportunity and expertise.
Over the years Sussex Stone & Ceramic have developed an extensive range of stone products on offer, including granite, marble, limestone, slate and travertine. As well as natural stone, we supply a wide variety of composite quartz materials sourced worldwide exclusively from branded manufacturers. In 2016 we were awarded Gold Fabricator status by Cosentino – one of the largest quartz manufacturers in the world, and home of Silestone and Dekton. In order to provide an all-encompassing service, we extended our range of products to also include a wide variety of floor and wall tiles as well as glass splashbacks.
Sourcing materials from all over the world, we have developed a large network of contacts which allows us to meet any requirement our customers might have. We consider ourselves to be competitive and always aim to provide the highest level of service.
Having cooperated with various trades over the years, we have developed good working relationships with experienced and reliable plumbers, electricians and tilers. We can, therefore, assist our customers with finding trustworthy tradesmen who understand our work ethic and whose work matches the high quality of our own pieces.
