Formed over millions of years by a combination of biological and geological processes, marble is a wonderful material. A riot of colour and variation, there’s no less predictable material for your requirements. Everything from the black Nero Marquina, through to the huge selection of white marbles so in vogue at the moment, like the Carrara being quarried in the picture above, almost every colour you could wish for is available.

 

Many marbles look beautiful in your bathroom, or indeed elsewhere around the home, fitting in with any decor you can imagine. It’s less suitable as a kitchen worktop stone compared to granite or one of the engineered ranges as it’s generally softer and much easier to stain, even if sealed. It can be done, however. We can fabricate everything from paving and cladding, through to fireplaces and bath surrounds, all with exquisite detail and to the highest quality. Standard thicknesses for slab are 20mm and 30mm, although unlike engineered stone, other thicknesses are available with a longer lead time.
